WhatsApp Multi-Language Template  Creation

The manual walks you through the process of building WhatsApp templates on the Office24by7 platform across different languages. To illustrate, it showcases how a template can be created in Telugu and explains the steps involved in its approval workflow.

Viewing Existing Templates

Navigate to the ‘Add-On’ section and select the ‘Templates’ tab under the WhatsApp Number configuration. Here, users can view a list of existing templates with details such as Template Name, Business Number, Number of Users, Activation Date, Approved Template ID, and Verification Status.

Adding a New Template

Click the ‘Add’ button to create a new template. Enter the Template Name and select the Business Number. From the ‘Languages’ dropdown, choose the language in which you want to create the template (e.g., Telugu).

Filling Template Content

Once the language is selected, you can enter the template content. Fill in the Body section with content in the selected language. Optionally, you may also add Header, Footer, and interactive Buttons. After filling in all required details, click on ‘Save as Template’ to submit the template.

Template Review and Approval

The created template is sent to Meta for review. While under review, the template’s Verification Status appears as ‘Pending’. Once approved, this status automatically updates
to ‘Approved’. The issue related to status updates has been resolved, and the workflow is now functioning as expected.
