The Hierarchy feature visually represents the organizational structure within your account by showing who reports to whom in a clear, diagrammatic format. This helps users and admins easily understand reporting relationships, managerial levels, and team alignment across the platform.

How to Create or Modify a Hierarchy
To build or adjust your team hierarchy:
Step-by-Step Process
- Navigate to Hierarchy Settings:
Go to Site Setup → Hierarchy. This opens the interactive Hierarchy Settings Panel. - Assign Reporting Relationships (Drag-and-Drop)
- Locate the user you want to assign under a manager.
- Drag their banner and drop it on the manager’s name.
- A green line box appears to confirm the drop location.
- Once dropped, the user appears slightly indented under the manager’s name, indicating they now report to them.
- Collapse or Expand Reporting Trees
Click on a manager’s name to collapse their hierarchy view. - The system displays the number of direct reports in brackets (e.g., “John Doe (4)”).
- Customize What Information Is Displayed
On the right-hand ‘Display Fields’ panel, check the boxes for any additional user details you’d like shown (e.g., email, phone number, team). - These details will appear next to each user’s name in the hierarchy.
- View Complete User Information
- Click the ‘More Details’ icon on the right side of any user’s banner.
- A full profile panel opens with information such as contact details, reporting path, created/modified date, and more.
